, m. [ts.], (a) non-commencement,
not undertaking (of action [kamma]); ~e-vimutti,
mfn., 'liberated in non-exertion', Sn 745 (gen. ~ino;
= ~e nibbāne vimuttassa, Pj). — (b) not attacking,
not injuring (or killing); see the third of Asoka's Rock
Edicts (Girnar-Inscription, 5): prāṇānaṁ sādhu an-
ārambho; cf. ārambha, sârambha & prec. ²an-ārambha
