a-takka-jātika
, mfn., dubious reading Ud-a 52,27(sabbaṁ ~aṁ passitvā jigucchanto, scil. huhuṁkajā-
tiko brāhmaṇo), the v. l. acokkha-jātikaṁ (also in
Sp-ṭ act Vin I 2,32; misread avokkha° in Ud-a Ee 52
note 7) suggests the meaning: unclean (as to caste or
manners); if not a blunder for a-taj-jātika, cf. Cana-
rese takka, 'ftt, proper' ≠ cokka, 'purity, clean-
ness' (?).
