aḍḍha-kāsika
, mfn., only Vin I 281,28 foll. ~okambalo, which seems orig, to mean a sort of 'half-
muslin' (cf. kāsika), but here taken in the sense of
'a piece of stuff sufficient for half the people of Kāsī'
(~aṁ kambalaṁ pāhesi upaddha-Kāsīnaṁ khama-
mānaṁ; accord, to Sp Kāsi means 1000, and aḍḍha-
kāsika: worth 500).
