Kacc 2 (~ā a-kārâdayo eka-cattālīsaṁ), whilst at
Mogg I 1 we find the number 43, because distinction
is made between
ē & ō and ō & ŏ (the latter before
conjunct consonant
); the single letters are named a-kāra,
