dress, mode of address, addressing =
āmantaṇa;
(b) the Vocative Case; — (a) Sadd 171,26 foll., enumerates
the categories of
~ and defines them ad bho: (1) puggalâ"
personal address, usually in association with a guṇi-
pada, subst., as in evaṁ bho purisa jānāhi, (2)
dhammâ° general or impersonal, used always in the
sg. and no
